WHEREAS, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 11542, appro�ed August
14, 19�9, the Car Allowance Committee provided for in Section 5 has
reported its findings and recommendations to the Council in a letter
dated March 28, 19F�6, and
WHEREAS, the Council has made a study of said report and recommenda-
tions; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul that the employees
listed below shall be entitled to and receive mileage allowances as

Gentlemen:
The Car Mileage Committee met in the office of the City Architect,
Robert L. Ames, on Monday morning, March 28, 1966 at 9s00 A.M.
The following members were presenti Messrs. Ames, Clarke, LaNasa,
Merrill, Rooney and Segal for McNeil. Requests were given individ-
ual consideration by the Committee.
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY
A letter dated February 28, 1966, signed by Ralph G. Merrill,
Deputy Commissioner of Public Safety, requested the following:

This request is recommended for approval by the Council.

The following request was contained in a letter dated March 1, 1966,
