Resolved, That upon the petition of
the City of Saint Paul, Department of
Public Safety, those sections of public
street hereinafter described be and the
same hereby are vacated and discon-
tinued as a public street:'
Isabel Street between Concord and
Livingston, and Sherman Street
between Seventh and Ramsey;
subject expressly to the following con-
ditions and reservations:
1. that the vaaction be subject to all
the terms and conditions of Section 22&
of the Legislative Code, as amended,
regulating the procedure and prescrib-
ing conditions for the vacation of pub-
llc grounds, atreets, alleys, and high-
ways in the City of Saint Paul;
2. that a specific 30-foot-wide per-
manent easement be retained in Isabel
Street to protect the interests of the
Water Department and that the present
grade be maintained within this ease-
ment area; ; ,
3. that any addition to the existing
building or any new buIIding construc-
tion in the easement area be subject to
the approva1 of the Water Department;
4. that no compensation be made£or
the vacation because of the proposed
purpQse of public use. �
