Examples of work performed: To initiate, organize, and expedite annual programs of preventative maintenance for all school buildings and grounds. To determine the necessity of bui].ding repairs and/or minor rehabilitation by the inspection of school buildings . To estimate costs of maint�enance and repair work and to establish yearly budgets and work programs. To assign, direct, and supervise the work and schedules of carpenters, painters, plumbers, electricians, sheet metal worlcers, custodian-engineers and janitors, and other craftsmen and laborers. - " To organize, plan, and initiate training and operational programs for the custiodial and building engineer staff. � To prepare reports and recommendations as to maintenance costs� projected programs, and building componenti and systems speGi,�ications. Minimum qualifications: - t College graduation in engineering and eight years' professional engineering experience, at least two years of which must have Ueen in responsible sunervisory capacitiy on maintenance or construction work; or, twelve years' experience in the building construction industry, at least four years of which must have been as e'uperintendent in the maintenance or construction of large commercial or public buildings or complexes. . ..
