Committee therefor, and hereby award.s contract For furnishing all
labor, materiel, machines, tools and equipment for constructing,
repairing or reconstructing such monolithic concrete sldewalks and
other work inaidenta.l thereto, within Sidewalk District 2, as may
be ordered by the Couneil for the current year prior to ovember
15, 1966, except suah work as the Council may order to be done by
City Force Account, to HIAWATHA CEMENT COMPANY, INC. in accordance
with City plans and specifieations therefor hereto attached and the
Formal Bid #1672 of said Hiawatha Cement Com�any, Inc. for the
contract price of approximately �131,183.50 (at unit pr►ices bid)
plus �gineering �13,118..35 and plus Inspection �2,623.67 b� Ci�Gy
Forces, such bid being the lowest and said Hiawatha Cement Company,
Inc. being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation
Counsel be and hereby is direeted to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor, and the proper City ofFicials hereby are authorized
to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
