RESOLVED, that an extra in the amount of $630.00 be
allowed under Contract G-4052. between the City of Saint Paul
and Hunt Electric Corporation, said contract for a new Elec-
trical Service and Distribution Equipment at the•�Main Library, •
90 West Fourth Street, and said extra to cover a new 500 MGM
type THWN feeder, this work having been requested by the
Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium And Civic Buildings,
and agreement made with the contractor, and a memorandum of
said agreement having been filed with the Gomptroller and
countersigned by him.

Dear Sirs
Contract No. G-4052 was awarded to Hunt Electric Corporation
for a new Electrical Service and Distribution Equipment at the
Main Library, 90 West Fourth Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work under this contract, it was
found desirable to do the following work because the existing
cable was found to b.e in a deteriorated condition caused by
water being present in the conduits
1. Remove old existing 500 MCM type R wire in existing
. 3% inch conduit
2. Install new 500 MCM type THWN to properly parallel
the new feeder � -
, 3. Credit ;. the scrap copper value of wire removed
making a net extra of $630.00. This is a reasonable amount
for the labor and material involved.
It is therefore recommended that a resolution be submitted to
the Council authorizing this extra to the contTact.
