RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held by and before the
Council of the City of Saint Paul, in the Council Chamber of the
Court House and City Hall, in said City, as provided in Section 1.07

advisability and necessity of the repair, replacement, remodeling,
or wrecking and removal of the twd-story frame two-family dwelling on
Lot 3, John Swainson's Division of Lots 1, 2, 3, F� 4, of Wm. A. Van Slyke's
Re-arrangement of Lots 19, 20, 21, F� 22, Block 9, Warren �, Wins�low's
Addition to St. Paul, according to the plat thereof recorded in the
office of the Register of Deeds of Ramsey County, Minnesota, alsot
known as 422 Mount Ida Street, because said structure is reported to
be dangerous and unsafe to life, limb and adjoining property.

Gentlemen:
There is a dwelling at 422 Mt. Ida Street, Saint Paul, Minne-
sota 55101, on property described as

of Wm, A. 1Tan Hlykets Rearrant�ement of Lots 19, 20, 21,
�.a-r�d 22, Block 9; Warren & Winslowt s Addition to S�rnrt S�,
Paul.
This is a two story frame two-family dwelling�, which is approx-
. imately 30 by 40. The outside walls are covered with composi-
tion siding and the chimneys extending above the roof are in
very poor repair. Windows are broken throughout the building
and several fires have oGcurred which have damaged the building,�
beyond reasonable repair. It is open to vandals and presents
' a hazard to life, limb and adjoining property and should be
wrecked and removed.
T'he last known record owner is the Young Realty Company, 1164
East Seventh Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55106 and the mort-
gagor is Minneapolis Federal Savings � Loan Assn. , 2 East
Fourth Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55102. Danger Notices
have been posted.
Kindly institute condemnation action by setting a public hear-
ing date in accordance with Section 1.07-2 of the Saint Paul
Legislative Code.
