RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Saint Paul, that pursuant to the request of
the Commissioner of Public Utilities set forth in his letter dated May 19, 1966,
it shall be and hereby is directed that all title and interests of the City of
Saint Paul and the Board of Water Commissioners of the Citp of Saint Paul to and
in the unplatted property named in said letter and described as follows: '
Commencing at a point on the south line of Maryland Street,
' said point being 255.68 feet west of the intersection of
the west line of White Bear Avenue, and the south line in
Maryl'and Street, thence south at right angles to the south
line in Maryland St�eet 156.19 feet, thence west parallel
with the south line of Maryland Street forty (40) feet,
thence north 156.19 feet to the south line of Maryland
Street, thence east along the south line of Maryland Street
forty �40) feet to the point of beginning, ✓
shall be disposed of according to the Rules and Reg�lations therefor provided by
Ordinance No. 6576, as amended; and, �

Gentlemen: '
The old Hazel Park Pumping Station on Maryland Avenue approximately
250 feet west of White Bear Avenue, was replaced by a new Pumping
Station at 1588 East Maryland Avenue, which was put into service in
1955, Since that time the interior pumping equipment in the old station
has been dismantled and the building torn down, The Board has no need
for this property, which has a frontage on Maryland Avenue of 40 feet
and a depth to Breen Street of 156,19 feet.
The Board of Water Commissioners, at its regular meeting held May 18,
1966, deemed it to the best interests of the Board and the City of Saint
Paul to dispose of the City's title to this property.
e It is hereby requested that your honorable body approve and ratify the
action of the Board and to proceed toward sale of said title according
to the rules and regulations therefor provided, all moneys to be derived
therefrom to be deposited to the credit of Water �nd 23.
