• RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the a�vard of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for Grading and Surfacing Birmingham Street from
E. Third Street to Fremont Avenue; also Fremont Avenue from Birmingham Avenue to 195
Feet West to W. J. EBERTZ COMPANY in accordance with City plans and specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid ��1751 of said W. J. Ebertz Company for the
contract price of $10,811.00 (at unit prices bid) plus $1,081.10 Engineering, plus
$216.22 Inspection, and plus $38.40 Finance Dept. Charge by City Forces, such bid
being the lowest and said W. J. Ebertz Company being a reasonable and reliable
bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper
form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
