, Plans and Specifications for Grading a.nd Paving Warner Road, Shepard Road,
Second Street a.nd Jackson Street were approved and the Purchasing Agent was
directed to advertise for bids on this improvement, and �
WHEREAS, Under authority of C.F'. No. 22�+780, approved August 5, �965,
the Contract for Grading and Paving Waxner Road, Shepaxd Roa.d, Second Street
- a.nd. Jackson Street was awa,rded to Hurley Construction Compa�qy, contractor,
� and construction is now substantia7ly completed on the timber bulkhead wa11
- as sho�wn on Engineer's Alternate 2, and
W�ERE�AS, It is now desired to erect a pipe railing on top of the timber
bulkhead wa71 and a structural plate beam guard rail on the outer Pace of the
timber bulkhead wa11 for the protection of the public; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Co�issioner of Public Works is hereby authorized and
d3rected to have City Forces order materials as required a.nd to erect the pipe
- , railing and structural plate beam guard rail on the timber bulkhead wall in
� accorda.nce with drawing, Paving Drawer 12, No. 942, Sheet 1Vo. 2�+ of �+7 sheets
as revised February 12, �g66, at an estima.ted cost,of $1600; and be it .
F'tk3THER RESOLVED, Tha.t the proper City officials be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to charge the cost for such materials and erection o�
pipe railing and structural plate beam guard rail by City Forces to P.I.R.
Fund 6000, to be reimbursed from 1966 County Aid.
