The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report�of the Commissioner of F`inance
upon th'e above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is `
to condemn and take an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and
fills� in.eluding right of removal of lateral support from sub�ject ]and or remainder -
thereo�, occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in the grading
_and surfacing with bituminoua material the a11ey in Ho�ard Green Add. from Edgcumbe
Rd. Ea.st to and including the turn-around, in accordance with the blueprint hereto
attechQd and made a part hereof� the hatched portiona ahowing the cuts a.nd the
shaded portions showing the fills. �
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 25•00 �
�� Resolved Further;"That a public hearing be had on said improvement on tlie lst day c�f
June� 1966 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber af the Court
Houae and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of F'fnance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place af
heaxing, the nature of the improvement and the tot�a.l cost thereof as estimated. _ � �S
