The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of "the Commissioner of F`inance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1.� That the said report a.nd the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. � _
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Cauncil recommends is
to change the grade of the a].leys in Block 3� Eayden He�Sghts, the east-west alley
from the West line of Lot 22 to the east north-south alley an.d the east north-�outh
alley from Nevada Ame. to Nebraska Ave. to conform to the grade as shown � the
proYi].e on file in the Department of Public Works. Also conde�ing and taking an -
easement in the land necessary for the alopes, cuts and fills, including right of
rem+oeal of .lateral support from sub�ect land or remainder thereof� occasioned by
exca.vations thereof or constructioai of slopes in the regrading and surfacing �ith
bituu�i.nous material the alleys in Block 3, Hayden Heights� the east west alley from
the West line of Lot 22 to the east north-south alley and the east north-south alley

said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place af
hea,ring, the nature of the improvement and the tot�a,l cost thereof as estimated.
