WHEREAS the Commissioner of Parks, Recreation and Public Buildi.ngs
has been designated by the Mayor as the Local Liaison Agency for the City
of St. Paul for the purpose of administering La.nd and Water Conservation
Fun.d Act grants; and
WHEREAS, local share funds are available for the purpose of a match�
ing federal grant for the redevelopment of Li.nwood Park Recreation Center;
now, therefore be it �
RESOLVED that the Commissioner of Parks, Recreation a.nd Public
Buildi.ngs is hereby authorized to execute and file with the Mi.nnesota De-
partment of Conservation, the State Liaison Agency for the Admi.n.istration
of the Land and Water Conservation Funds, a development project proposal for a

or the redevelopmerit of Linwood Park Recreation Center iu an eventual
amount equal to 50% of the development cost now estimated to be $64, 400. 00.
