WHEREAS, Robert L. Ames7the City Architect,has rec�uested the
City Council to hold a public hearing to consider any complaints about
the expense incurred by the City of Saint Paul in r�noving a dangerous
structure at 719 Dayton Avenue, more particularly described as Lot 24,
Block 2, Holcombe's Ad.dition to Saint Paul; and
NiHEREAS, it appears that the last known record owner of the
property is Royal Realty Company, Endicott on Fourth Building, Saint
Paul; and the contract purc}asers are Reverend Arthur I. Harper, 719
Dayton Avenue, Saint Paul, and Minneapolis Federal Savings �, Loan Associa-
tion, 2 East Fourth Street, Saint Paul; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of tha City of Saint Paul hold
a public hearing in the Council Chamber at 10 o'clock A. M. on the 3rd
day of May, 1966, to consider any complaints about the expense incurred
by the City of Saint Paul and to conf irm the amount thereof; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Architect notify by mail the
record owners ,of the property in question at the last lrnown address, as
well as other interested persons of record.

a statement of expense incurred for the purpose of securing a
lien on the property in accordance with Section. 1.07-7 of the
Saint Paul Legislative Code. .

A statement of expense has been filed with the City Clerk on
this date for the purpose of creating a lien on the property
known as 719 Dayton AVenue described as Lot 24, Block 2, Hol-
� combe 's Addition to Saint Paul. �This property is owned by
Royal Realty Co. ; Endicott on Fourth Building, Saint Paul;
Contract Purchaser: Rev. Arthur I. Harper, 719 Dayton Avenue,
Saint Paul; and Minneapolis Federal Savings 8 Loan Associa-
tion, 2 East Fourth Street, Saint Paul.
In this matter the following resolutions were adopted by the
City Council :
� C.F. 223979 adopted by the Council June 15, 1965 and published
June 19, 1965 set a public hearing at 10 A. M. July 20, 1965.
C.F. 224607 adopted by the Council July 23, 1965 and published
� July 31, 1965 ordered the wrecking by and at the separate
cost and espense of the owner, occupant, or other person in con-
trol thereof. .
� C.F. 225105 adopted by the Council September 2, 1965 and pub-
lished September 4, 1965 directed the Commissioner of Parks
And Recreation And Public Buildings to enter the premises and
wreck and remove the dwelling and garage thereon and do any
and all things th�rein necessary for the protection of life,
limb and adjoining property.
C.F. 225941 adopted by the Council November 18, 1965 and pub-
lished Novembez� 20, 1965 approved the award of the contract for
wrecking to A. Kamish Company for the sum of $1,400.00 in ac-
cordance with specifications and Informal Bid No. 8869. '
C.F. 227574 adopted by the Council March 8, 1966 and published
March 12, 1966 provided that the wrecking expense of $1,400.00
