In the matter of�n:improving and widening SIXTH STREET from Mounds
Boulevard to Arcade Street by regrading, repaving and recurbing the
roadbed and the street, alley and driveway returns; by constructing
and reconstructing pavement, curbs, sidewalks, traff ic control systems
and storm water drainage facilities where necessary; by constructing
sewer, water and gas service connections where necessary; by renewing
existing lead water service connections; and by doing all other work
which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement, under
greliminary Qrder C.F. No. 224595, approved July 22, 1965, and Final
Order C.F. No. 227442, approved March 1, 1966.
Resolved, That the plans and specif ications for the above named
improvement as submitted by the Commissioner of Fublic �orks, be and
the same are hereby approved; and be it further
Resolved, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby directed
to advertise for bids on this improvement.
