Wel�'are Budget Advisory Convnit�tee 113 Court House Saint Paul, Minnesota 55102 - Dear Mr. Dalglish: The Ramsey County Welfare Board, at its meeting on November 28, 1967, voted to request the ��elfare Budget Advisory Committee, the City Council, and the Board of County Commissioners to adjust the 1967 budget, increasing appropriations and cash receipts and transferring balances of $287 ,718.00 in the Contingency account carried over from the previous year to receipts in order to balance the budget. ' The attach�d breakdown shows the increases, decreases, and transfers approved by the Boarcl and submitted to the Budget Advisory Committee for approval. It is the r�quest of the Board that the Budget Advisory Committee transmit the revised budget to the City Council and the Board of County Commissioners for approval. The first colurrm indicates the department or institution, the second column the approved 1967 budget and the estimated cash receipts, the third and fourth columns show transfers, either increases or decreases, and the fifth colurrm the adjusted 1967 budget. The original budget appropriation is $36,268,411. The recommended adjusted appropriatiun is $36,978,189. The approved 1967 receipts were $21,426 ,897. The recommended adjusted receipts were $21,848,957. The recommended adjusted budget is $709,776 mo.re than the approved budget. Adjusted receipts are $422,060 more than the estimate approved by 1967. To this we have added $287,718 carried over in the Contingency account which makes up the balance in receipts of $709,773. Mr, Bernard Selbitschka, Controller for the Ramsey County Welfare Board, • has increased or decreased the accounts in accordance with the best estimates available at this time.
