WHEREAS, Under Resolution C. F. 235719, approved by the Council on
November 10, 1967, the Counci� approved the establishment of a Waste
Improvement Planning Committee to advise the Coancil on pollution abate-
ment matters, and
WHEREAS, It is necessary that a nucleus or steering group for said
committee begin to function as soon as possible in formulating organiza-
tional and procedural proposals;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That a Waste Improvement Pianning
Committee is hereby established with the assignment of making investiga-
tions along the general lines suggested in the Department of Public Works
report of November 2, 1967, and making proposals and recommendations thereon
to the Council , and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That initial appointments to said Waste
Improvement Planning Committee be as follows: � �
