Whereas, It appears from said returns and the canvass thereof that 25,069 electors voted in favor of the adoption of said Amendment to t he City Charter, and1�6,520 electors voted against the adoption thereof, and Whereas, Minnesota Statutes, Section 410.12, provides that such .�znendment to the City Charter must be approved by 55� of those lawfully voting thereon, and less t�r�. 55� of those lawfully voting thereon voted in favor of such approvalj therefore, be it . .
