RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Pp.ul hereby awards to the Legal Ledger,
Inc. t�he contract for printing and publishing in the Saint Paul Legal Ledger, during the
year 1968, all ordinances, resolutions or abstracts thereof, and other proceedings and
ma.tters required to be published under the Charter or by resolutions or ordinances of the
Council including resolutions and proceedings of the Independent School District No. 625,
or abstracts thereof in a legal daily newspaper, printed in the English Language, at a
price of �1.80 per folio for the first insertion, �.60 per folio for each and every sub-
sequent insertion of the same matter, and �.60 per folio extra for tabular matter; also
to print and bind in book form 50 copies of the Proceedings of the City Council for 1968
with index to be prepared by the contractor, being 1300 pages, more or less, at a price
of $5.25 per printed page; also, to print and bind 50 copies of the proceedings of
Independent School District No. 625 for 1968, with index to be prepared by contractor,
to be paper bound, at a price of $5.25 per printed page, all in accordance with Formal Bid '
No. 2607 submitted pursuant to advertisement therefor, said sums to be paid out of the
Official Publication �1.in.d, except that publications. of Independent School District No. 625
shall be paid out of the flznds of said District; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul Legal Zedger be and is hereby designated as
the official paper of the City of Saint Paul for the year beginning January l, 1968, and
until its successor shall have been designated, in vrhich all publications for the year 1968
shall be made; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Corporation Counsel is hereby authorized and d.irected to
draft the proper oontrac� therefor and the proper' City �officers are hereby autnorized and
directed to execute said contract.
