On behalf of the owners of the above property the under-
signed respectfully ob�ect�. to the report of the Commissioner of
Finance as to the amount of damages to be awarded for the taking
of the above referred to property, the same being Lot l, except
the North 120 fee� thereof, and the South one-half of Lot 2, all
in Irvines Addition of Outlots to the Town of St. Paul, and
respectfully submits proof of valuation attached in the nature
of affidavits, and requests that the valuation be affixed at a
fair market value and to reimburse the owners for the taking of
said property.
The undersigned respectfully expects to appear at the
hearing on said report before the Honorable City Council at
10: 00 �.. M. on November 29, 1967, to point out the reasons why
the valuation should be fixed at a greater amount than that re-
ferred to in the Finance Commissioner's report.
The undersigned also respectfully calls attention to
the approval of the purchas;e of another piece of property at
4�94� Collins Street in the same immediate neighborhood approved
on September 28, 1967, which piece of property is contended to
be of lesser value than the property herein referred to, on a
much smaller lot and a much smaller house and lesser value,
for which a purchase price was paid by the city of �Z7, �50.00.
