WHEREAS, It appears'�that there is an increasing need for
the availability of reading material and -a corresponding desire
to encourage the use of library books and related information;
and
WHEREAS, 'It appears mutually beneficial to the citizens of
the City of Saint Paul and the City of Minneapolis to have
libraries available when traveling in the Twin City Area; now,
therefore, be 3.t
RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are hereby
authorized to enter into an agreement with the Minneapo�.is
Library Board providin� for reciprocal borrowing privileges
be�Ween residen�a of the City of Sain� Paul and the City of
Minneapolis for a trial period of two years beginning in
January of 1968.
