RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering Four •1968 Model,
8-cylinder, 4-door, 5-passenger SEDANS, 1968 Ford Custom 4-Door to the City of Saint
Paul, Department of Public Safety, Repair Shop, 1441 Rice Street, Saint Paul,
Minnesota, to THE MIDWAY COMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor
hereto attached and the Formal Bid �2532 of said Midway Companp for the Net Contract
price of $7382.00 (which includes an allowance for trade-ins in the amount of $1750.00),
such bid being the lowest meeting specifications and said Midway Company being a
reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporati,on Counsel be and hereby is
authorized to draft the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City
officials are hereby directed to execute said contract on behalf of the City � '-
of Saint Paul. _
