WHEREAS, The Committee on Lands, composed of the Mayor,
the Purchasing Agent, and the Commissioner of Public Works of
the City of -Saint Paul, has secured an agreement for the pur-
chase of that certain. property described as follows:
West one-half (W.2) of the Southwest quarter
(S.W:4) of Lot Four (4) Irvines Addition of
Outlots to the Town. of St. Paul, acc. , also,
the east one-half (E.2) of the Southwest
� quarter (S.W.4) and the West 40 feet of the
Southeast quarter (S.E.4) of Lot Four (4) , �
Irvines Addition of Outlots to the Town. of
St. Paul, acc. ;
and �
WHEREAS, The properties described therein are necessary
for the opening and widening of the Arch-Pennsylvania Highway
from Lafayette Road to Payne Avenue, and the price at which the
properties may be puxchased is at the total .amount of �43, 100,
a fair and reasonable price according to the appraisal obtained
by the Committee on Lands , and the own.er is to retain and move
the dwelling located at 515 North Street; and

WHEREAS, Said Committee has recommended the purchase of
said properties at the price stated above, as evidenced by the
letter of the Committee submitted herewith; and

� WHEREAS, The above parcel is in. fact under two sep�arate
ownerships, the first parcel being the east one-half (E.Z) of the
Southwest quarter (S.W.4) and the West 40 feet of the Southeast
quarter (S.E.4) of Lot Four (4) , Irvines Addition of Outlots to
the Town of St. Paul, acc. ; and the second parcel being the West
one-half (W.2) of the Southwest quarter (S.W.4) of •Lot Four (4)

W�REAS, A minor interest is involved in a portion of
the second parcel, bein� the West one-half (W.2) of the

Outlots to the Town. of St. Paul, acc: ; now, therefore, be it
� RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are authorized
' an.d directed to enter into a separate agreement to purchase the
interest of Donna Marie Morelli, a minor; be it
FUR.THER RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are
hereby authorized to pay Rose Morelli �30, 350 for the acquisi-
tion of the first parcel being the east one-half (E.2) of the
, Southwest quarter (S.W.4j and the West 40 feet of the• Southeast
quarter (S.E.4) of Lot Four (4) , Irvines Addition of Outlots to -
the Town of St. Paul, �cc. ; and to pay t� Rose Morelli (an
undivided 2�3) , To Sylvia Sorini and Armand J. Sorini (an
undivided �/g) , � to Louis Morelli and Sand'ra Morelli (an undivided
%9) , to Matthew Morelli , guardian of Donna Marie Morelli, minor,
(an undivided %9) �12,750 for the acquisition of the second
parcel being the West one-half (W.2) of the Southwest quarter

o� St. �Paul, acc. All such sums are to be paid to the afore-
said vendors?from PIR Fund 6000 to be r�nbursed from Bond Fund
- - No. 720-0-ST,,32,�.up:bn, their_furnishing an abstract of. t.itle and
certificate of title continued to date evidencing good market-
able title in the aforesaid vendors, and a total payment to be
made upon tender by said parties of appropriate deeds conveying
title to said parties to the City of Saint Paul.
