RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the action of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby acaards contract to PUBLIC WORKS EQUIPMENT CO., INC. for furnishing and
delivering to the City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works, riunicipal Equipment,
891 North Dale Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota, One Truck Chassis with Ballast Box,
SNOW PLOW and WING ASSEMBLY, Model B4-2216 (including Alternate �1 - B. Additional cost
to install center differential and Less Allowance for One - 1939 Sno-Go Rotary Plow)
at a total net cost of $17,411.00 in accordance with City specifications therefor and
the Formal Bid �2549 of said Public Works Equipment Co., Inc. , such bid being the lowest
and said Public Works Equipment Co. , Inc. being a reasonable and reliable bidder and
the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draft the proper form of contract
therefor and the proper City officials are hereby suthorized to execute said contract
on behalf of the City of Saint Paul. -
