ITrdHE�AS, Chapter �75, Minnesota Statutes 1g65; as
amend�ed, pr vides that the governing body of any municipality
issuijng gen ral obligations shall, prior to the delivery of
the obligat ons, levy by resolution a direct general ad
- valor�em tax upon all taxable property in the municipality,
to b� sprea upon the tax rolls for each year of the term
of tYie obli ations, and said law also provides that the tax
levies for 11 years shall be specified and such that if
collected i full they, together with estimated collections
of special � ssessments and other revenues pledged for the
- payment of aid obligations, will produce:�at least five per
cent (5�) i3� excess of the amoun�ts needed to meet, when
due, the pr'ncipal and interest payments on the°obligations,
and �aid la� further provides that said resolution shal�l
crea�e a se arate sinking fund for each issue of obligations,
and �hall i revocably appropriate the taxes so levied and any
�special ass ssments or other revenues so pledged to that fund
`or aecount; now, therefore, be it
R�SO VED, That for the purpose of providing for the
payment of �the principal .and interest upon the $1,150,000
Sewage Disposal�-System Bonds,, �eries 1967E, issued and sold, as
authorized �by Resolution of this Council, Council File No.
235283, whe� and as the same mature, and for an additional
direet t�,x n an amount not less than five per centum (5�)
�in excess o�' the sum required to. pay such principal and
inte�est w �n the' same mature, there is hereby levied on all
of t�e tax�le �roperty in the City of Saint Paul, in addition
to a]!1 othe� taxes, a tax. for the payment of said $1,150,000
of bdnds, t e follow�ng direct annual, irrevocable taxes,

it shall be� paid promptly, when due, out of the general fund of the
said City af Saint Paul, and reimbursement therefor. shall be made
when said taxes shall have been received; be it
FURT�iER RESOLVED, That there shall be created a sepaxate
sinkin� fur�d, or a special .account in the sinking fund, for said
obligations�, and that the taxes received for the payment thereof are
here�y 3.rre�vocably appropr�ated to said account, and�that the City
Clerk be a d is hereby instructed to file in the office of the County
Aud��or of amsey County a certified copy of this Reso2ution, together
, with �full i formation regarding the bonds for whic�i this tax is levied,
and the Cit Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to secure from the
County Audi or a certificate that he has entered the obligations in
the tax reg ster as required under the provis3.ons of Chapter �+75,
Minnesota S�atutes 1965, as amended, and that the tax levy required
for the pur ose has been made; be it
� FURT ER RESOLVED, That before the said bonds shall be delivered
to the purc aser, the- Council of the City of Saint Paul shall obtain
from the Co nty Auditor and deliver to the purchaser a certificate of
the ounty uditor that �he issue has been entered on his register and
that a tax as been levied as required by law, in accordance with the
provisions f Chapter �-75, Minnesota Statutes 1g65, as amended; be it
