WI-�REAS, The Committee on Lands, composed of the Mayor, the
Purchas�ng Agent, and the Commissioner of Public Works of the City
of Sain Pau1, has secured an agreement for the purchase of that
certain property described as follows: �
Lot 2, Middents Rearrangement of Lots 1 and 2 of Block 29
of LafondTs Addition to Saint Paul, .acc,
RRAS, The property described therein is necessary for the
opening and widening of Marion Street from University Avenue to
Como Avenue, and the price at which the property may be purchased
is at t�e total amount of $7,750, a fair and reasonable price
accordi� g to the appraisal obtainecl by the Committee on Lands; and
FtRAS, Said Committee has recommended the purchase of said
�proper at the price stated above, as evidenced by the letter of
said Co ittee submitted herewith; now, therefore, be it
� RE�SOLVED, T hat pursuant to Section 303 of the Charter of the
City o� Saint Paul, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby authorize the purchase of the land described as:
� ~ Lot 2, Middents Rearrangement of Lots 1 and 2 of Block 29
of LafondTs Addition to Saint Paul, acc.
RFSOLVED Further that the proper city officials are hereby ^
authori�zed and directed to pay to Harold 0. Dahlquist and Clarence A.
Lindeke�, record fee owners, and Gordon K. and Jane M. Vance, contract
for de d vendees, the sum of $7,750, said sum to be paid to the
'aforesa�,id vendors from PIR Fund Code 6000, to be re�mbursed from
1968 M�S.A. Fund, Project No. 64-160-05, upon their furnishing
evidenc�e of good marketable title in the aforesaid vendors, and
the to�jal payment to be made upon tender by said parties of
approp�+iate deeds conveying title to said property to the City of
Saint �aul.
