HEREAS, The Council of the City of Saint Paul is informed by the
Commis ioner of Public Safety that a nuisance exists on the vacant property
on the southwest corner of Chatsworth and Concordia in the City of Saint
Paul ( or which the owner is Attucks Brooks Post #606, 976 Concordia),
which uisance constitutes a hazard to the ,public health, welfare and
� safety and " �
REAS, Such nuisance more particularly consists of rubbish and
tree ]�.mbs and an overgrowth of weeds, which harbors rodents, vermin, and
other oxious animals and things; and
' REAS, Pursuant to Section 374 of the Charter of the City of Saint
Paul, d Section 265.52 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code 24 hours'
noticelhas been given to the owner, occupant, or agent of such property
deman ng that such nuisance be removed; now, therefore, be it

SOLVED, That upon the recommendation of the Commissioner of Public
Safety the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby directed to summarily
and fo thwith remove the said nuisance, the cost of such removal to be
charged against' �und No. 0979; and be it
�'[JRTHER RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Public Safety is directed
to ascertain the cast of such removal and to forward the same to the County
Audito�r on or before October 1 of the year in which ascertained, for col-
lectio�i in the same manner as taxes against said property.
