Resolved, That upon the petition of
Flazel Sorenson and others, those sec-
tions of a public street and alley here-
inafter described be, and the same
hereby aze vacated and discontinued
as a public street and public alley:
Snelling Avenue from the north-
westerly line, of West Seventh
Street, as widened,to the northerly
line of Lot 7,Block 3,C.W.Young-
man's 2nd Addition to Saint Paul,
extended westerly, together with
the alley in said Block 3 between
the easteily line oE Srielling Avenue
and the northerly line of Lot 7 of
said block, extended easterly•
subject expressly to fhe iollowing con-
ditions and reservations:
1.That the vacation be described as
follows: vacate Snelling Avenue
from the northwester�y line of VGest
Seventh Street, as widened, to the
northerly line of Lot 7, Block 3,
C. W. Youngman's 2nd Addition to
Saint Paul� extended westerly. Also
vacate alley in said Block 3 between
the,easter�y line of Snelling.Avenue
and the northerly line of Lot 7 of
said block, extended easter�y;
2.That the vacation be subject to all
the terms and conditions of Section
228 oE the L;egislative Code, as
amended, regulating the procedure
, and prescribing conditione for%the
vacation of public grounds, streets,
alleys and highways in the City of
Saint Paul; ,
3.That the g;anting�of this vacatlon
shall not imply City Council ap-
proval of the pending petition to
rezone the land in this general area;
4.That specific easements be retained
to protect the interests of "the
Northern States Power Company -

5.That the petitioner pay to the City
the sum of �4,590 a5 compensation
for the vacation and provide tfie
City with a bond in the amount of
