OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COUN L RESOLUTION—GENERAL FORM � PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONE DATF WHEREAS, in the drafting of the Resolution adopted by the Council on September 15, 1967, Council File �235044 an error was made in the extension of price, be it therefor RESOLVED, that said Resolution be amended to read as follows: RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves t�e award of the Purchasing Committee therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering f.o.b. City of Saint Paul Water Department, McCarron's Water Treatment Plant, 1900 Rice Street, Soo Line Siding, St. Paul, Minnesota, for a period of one year beginning November 1, 1967, approximately 500 tons , LIQUID CHLORINE in�tank car shipments�of 30 to 55 tons each; to VULCAN MATERIALS COMPANY, CI�MICALS DIVISION, at a price of $67.42 per net ton, making total amount ;.of contract approximately $33,710.00, in accordance with City specifications and the Formal Bid �2499 o� said Vulcan Materials Company, Chemicals Division, such bid being the lowest and said bidder being a reasonable and reliable one and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby are suthorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
