In the matter of opening, widening and extending PROSPERITY AVE. by condemning and taking
for street purposes the following described parcel of land all in the City of St. Paul: �
that part of the NW� of Section 27, Township 29 N. , Range 22 W. , bounded by the follow-
ing described lines: . commencing at the point of intersection of the easterly line of
r Prosperity Ave. and the southerly line of Maryland Ave. ; thence southerly 20 ft. along �
the said easterly line of Prospe;ity Ave. to a point; thence northeasterly on a straight
line to a point on the said southerly line of Maryland Ave. 20 ft. east of the point of
beginning; thence westerly along said south'erly line of Maryland Ave. 20 ft. to the
point of beginning.

l The Commissioner of Finance having submitted his report in the above matter as to the amount
of damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above im-
provement and to whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to property
_ fiom the making of said improvement, therefore be it . -
• Resolved,'That tlie said assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved. �
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said repoi-t and for a, con-
fii-mation of the award of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said as-
sessment of benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Coui-t House in the City of St. Paul on the '
,�aPnt3►-f;fth da;� of October� 1967 , at ten o'clock A.M. and that the Commis-
sioner of Finance be and he is directed to give notice of said hearinb as l�rescribed�by the Charter.
