RESOLVED, That the Counc3l herebp approves the award of the Contract Committe� therefor
and hereby spards contract for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services
necessary for or reasonablp incidental to the General Construction of a fence and
backstops at Linwood Park Playground, located at South east corner of Deubener Place
and St. Clair Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota to IINITED STATES STEEL CORPORATION for the
contract price of $11,570.00, in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor
hereto attached and the Formal Bid �2460 of said United States Steel Corporation, such
bid beii�g the lowest and said IInited States Steel Corporation being a reasonable and
reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draft the
proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized
to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
