�nfhereas, In the matter of Comptroller's Contract L-6967 for the
BATTITs CREEK BAST APARTMENTS SEL�ER SYSTEM from Winthrop Street to 1000•
Easterly, F. Morettini Construction Companq, Contractor, the specified
date of completion is August 18, 1967, and f
Whereas, The contract documents could not be processed in time tb
permit completion by August 18; therefore be it,
Resolved, That the proper City Officials be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an amendment to said contract extend-
ing the time of completion to September 29, 1967 provided however, that
this resolution shall have no force ci��F�effect unless the sureties on the
Contractorts bond consent thereto and f ile 'such consent in writing with
the City Comptroller, and be it,
Further Resolved, That the City of Saint Faul hereby waives all
claim for liquidated damages and that no engineering and insepction
costs on this project will be charged to the Contractor for such extended
period.
