Operational Costs Guidance ❑ LETPP: State & local jurisdictions may use up to 25% of funds to support operational overtime costs at Code Orange associated with increased security measures at critical infrastructure sites. ❑ UASI: State & Iocai jurisdictions may use up to 25°/4 of funds to support operational overtime casts at Gode Orange associated with increased security measures af criticai infrastructure sites within UASI jutisdictions. • Of the 25%, up to 10% may be used to support opera6onal overtime costs incurred at Code Yellow OR Orange associated with increased security measures at critical infrastructure sites within UASI jurisdicfions. • The remaining 9 5% may be used to support operationaf overtime costs incurred ONLY at Code Orange associated with increased security measures at criticai infrastructure sites within UASi jurisdictions. This guidance aiso applies to operational overtime costs incurred at Nationai Special Security Events (NSSE's) in UASi jurisdictions, as designated by the Secretary of Homeland Security. Catastrophic lncidenE Pianning in support of ClRA, catastrophic incident response planning is now inciuded as an allowable expense under FY05 SHSP and UASi. State and local catastrophic incident planni�g activities should be coordinated wth both ODP and FEMA to � ensure synchronization. FEMA Regiona4 Recovery Division has more guidance on planning requirements. H. Pubtic Awareness and Citizen Participation SHSP and UASI award recipients must work with the CCC's to ensure the foilowing: Expand pians & task force membershiQs to address citizen pa�ticipation.
