WI�REAS, The Coimcil of the City of Saint Paul is informed by the
Coi►unissioner of Public Safety that a nuisance exists on the property '
located at 397 Pleasant Avenue in the City of Saint Paul (for which the
owner of record is Stuart Markoe, �Jr. , 1200 Pioneer Building), which
nuisance constitutes a hazard to the public health, welfare and safety;
and
WHEREAS, Such nuisance more particularly consists of an accumulation
of garb�age and` trash and an overgrowth of weeds, which harbors rodents,
. vermin, and other noxious animals and ttrings; and • ,
WHEREAS, Punsuant to Section 374 of the Charter of the City of Saint
Paul, and Section 265.52 of the Saint Paul Legislatine Code 24 hours'
notice has been given to the owner, occupant, or agent of such propex�ty
demanding that such nuisance be removed; naw, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That upon the recommendation of the CouQnissioner of Public
Safety the Commissioner of Public Works is herebp directed to summarily
�d forthwith remove the said.nuisance, the cost of such removal to be
charged against Fimd Pio. 0979; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Public Safety is directed
to ascertain the cost of such remov.al �d to forward the same to the County
Auditor on or before October 1 of the year in which ascertained, for col-
lection in the same manner as taxes against sai.d•property.
