WI�REAS, The Council of the City of Saint Paul is informed by the
Commissioner of Public Safety that a nuisance exists on the property .
located at 565 Aurora Avenue in the City of Sai.nt Paul (for which the
owner of record is Claude Van Dorf, 565 Aurora Avenue); whirh nuisanee
constitutes a hazard to the public health, welfare and safety; and
Wf�REAS, Such nuisance more particularly consists of an accumulation
of garbage and trash and an overgrowth of weeds, which harbors rodents,
vermin, and other noxious animals and things; and
WHEREAS, Pu�uant to Section 374 of the Charter of the City of
Saint P�ul, and Section 265.52 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code 24
hours' notice has been given to the owner, occu�ant, or agent of such
property demanding that such nuisance be removed; ncxa, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That upon the recommendation of the Commissioner of
Pub]ic Safety the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby directed to
summarily and forthwith •remove the said nuisance, the cost of such� removal
to be charged against Fund No. 0979; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Public Safety is directed
to ascertain the cost of such remonal� and to fo�rard the same to the County
Auditor on or before October 1 of the year in which ascertained, for collec-
tion in the same manner as taxes agai.nst said property.
