RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the recommendation of the Purchasing Co�ittee -
�in awaxding contract for furnishing and delivering Coal, Coke and Briquets to various depax�-
ments of the City of St. Paul for period of one year from September l, 1967 (Including Inde-
pendent Schoal Distr:i.ct �25) as follows:
GREAT LAI�S COAL & DOCK CUMPANY - Minimum 200 ton to maximum of 1500 ton W.Va. Splint
Stoker Coal, 200 ton Screenings, 2 ton Nut Coke, 10 ton Briquets for the contract price
of approximate�y $2�+,199.10
all in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid �2395
of said Great Lakes Coal & Dock Compa.ny, such bid being the lowest, and said bidder�being
a reasonable and reliable one and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw
up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby are authorized
to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul. �
