WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Saint Paul, pursuant to
Resolution C.F. 229945, approved August 30, 1966, authorized the
Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium and Civic Buildings to file
on behalf of the �City an application for an advance by the United
States to aid the City in defraying the cost of plan preparation
for the construction of the Eagle Street parking facilities, and
WF�REAS, The United States of America Department of Housing
and Urban Development has notified the City of Saint Paul that
the City's application for advance planning funds has been ap-
proved by said Department in an amount not to exceed $107,300.00,
now therefore be it :
RESOL`IED, That the proper City officers are hereby authorized
and directed to execute, on behalf of the Citp, Agreement for
� Public Works Plan Preparation Contract Number H(402)-2961 between
the United States of America Department of Fiousing and Urban
Development arid the City of Saint Paul pertaining to an advance
by said Department of an amonnt not to exceed $107,300.00 to aid
the City in financing its cost for plan preparation of the Eagle
Street parking facilities.
