WI�REAS, Additions and Deductions which might prove to be necessary in the
improvement described as the reconstruction of the Ornamental Lighting
System on KELI�(1GG BOULEVARD from Sibley Street to West Seventh Street,
Comptroller's Contract L-6915, Hunt Electric Corp. , contractor, have
been provided for in the Specifications, and
FIAERF.AS, it has been found necessary to make the following deduction,
to-wit:

'�;�;��educt 19 light standards from the original contract. . .lump sum
"�deduc�ion of $8,686.00 and
Deduct 1 traffic signal from the original contract. . . .lump sum
deduction of $210.00, and _
Said deductions'are necessaiy to facilitate realignment of Kellogg
Blvd. due to proposed Auditorium Arena expansion.
WI�REAS, the total deduction is $8,896.00, now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul° through its City Council approves the
foregoing Deduction made in accordance with the specifications in the
sum of $8,896.00, said amount to be deducted, fa�om:�the lump sum consideration
named in the contract, known as Comptroller's Contract L-�915, and the
. Lighting deduction is to be credited to the amount financed by assessment
and the traffic signal deduction is to be credited to Municipal State
Aid Suspense.
The Commissioner of Public U�tilities has agreed with the above
named contractor that the sum of $8,896.00 is the correct amount to be
deducted from the above contract. '
