i WHEREA.S, the Counci.l of the City of Saint �.'au1 is informed
j by the City Architect that the vacant and open buildi.ngs located at
� 741 East Minnehaha Street in the City of Saint Paul are a proximate
,
Ii hazard to the public health, welfare and safety; and
i
WHEREA�, th.e last record owners of said property, George
� and Delia Rush and the Ramsey County Welfare Board, have fai.led to
� secure the same against entry by unauthorized persons in violation of
� Section 192. ].8 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code; and
� WHEREAS, the said vacant and open buildings are found anc�

} determined by the Council of the City of Saint Paul to constitute a menace
i to the public health, welfare and safety, and a public nuisance, which
must be �mmediately abated to prevent loss of life or property; now,
r therefore, be it

I RFSOLVED, by the Counci.l of the City of Saint Pau1, that
f the City Architect is authorized and directed to immediately secure
isaid buil.dings by the use of City forces or contract labor, pending the
initiation of proceedixgs under the hazardous bui.ldings act; and be it �

C� FUR.THER RESOLVED, that the expense of securing such
buildings be paid out of Fund No. 0976, Wrecking Buildi.ngs, and that the
� Corporation Counsel be directed to take appropriate action to reimburse
, said fund by action against the owner of said property. , .
