PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONE DATF WHEREAS, In the matter of Comptroller's Con�tract L-6866 for 1966 Extra Ordinary Maintenance, Armor-Coat Company, Inc. , contractor, the specified date of completion is October l , 1966; .and WHEREAS, The Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently, but due to construction work elsewhere, additional traffic was diverted to _ E. Seventh Street and Mounds�Boulevard so that it was necessary to defer seal coat work on these streets until the summer of 1967 and it was not , possible to complete the contract by said date .of completion; therefore be it RESOLUED, That the proper City Officials be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute an" amendment to said contract extending the time of completion to July 15, 1967 provided however, that this reso- lution shall have no force or effect unless the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent thereto and file such consent in writing with the City Comptroller; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of St. Paul hereby waives all claim for liquidated damages and that no engineering and inspect+on costs on this - project will be charged to the Contractor for such extended period. � ' b Au� a i9sa COUNCILMEN - Adopted by the Council 19— Yeas Nays r�--�:::.:..
