�hereas, In the matter of Comptroller's Contract L-6878 for the
OXFORD-CENTRAL RELIEF SEWER SYSTEM, McDonald-Luben & Associates, Inc. ,
Contractor, the specif.ied date of completion is October 15,_ 1966, and
Whereas, The Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently but due
to delay caused by Western Union relocating facilities it was not possible
to do the clean-up work until �Western Union had completed its work,
therefore be it,
Resolved, That the proper City Officials be and they are hereby
author�:Uzed and directed to execute an amendment to said contract extend-
ing the time of completion to June 1, 1967 provided however, that this
resolution shall have no force or effect unless the sureties on the
Contractor's bond consent thereto and file such consent in writing with
the ,City�Comptroller, and be it, '
Further Resolved, That the City of Saint Faul hereby �waives all
claim for liquidated damages and that no en�ineering and inspection
� ^ costs on this project will be charged to the Contractor for such
extended period.
