the City Architect that the vacant and open bui].di.n.g located at 535 F�.i]ler Avenue
in f,he City of Saint Paul is a proxuriate hazard to the public liealth,
welf ar e and s af ety; and �
WHER.EAS, ths>last record owner of s aid property, Hyman S. Siga1 and
Goldie Sigal, have faaled to secure f,he same against entry by unauthori.zed
persons in violafa.on of �estion 192.18 of the Saint Paul Legislati.ve Code; and �
WHEREAS, the s aid vacant and open building is found�and determined
by the Council of the City of Saint Pau�. to constitute a menace to the public
health, welfare and s afety, aud a public nuis arice, which must be iinmediately
abated to pxevent loss of 5.ife or property; now, therefore', be it
RESOLVED, by the Coun.cil. of the City of 5aint Pavl, that the City
Architect is auEhorized and directed to immediately s ecure s aid bui].ding
by �Ehe use of City forces or contract labor, .pending the inifa.ation of
proceedin.gs under tl�.e hazardous builclings act; and be it

FURTHER RF�S OLVED, that the expens e of s ecuring s uch building
be paid out of Fund No. 0976,, Wrecking Builcli.ngs, and that the Corporation
Coun.sel b• directed to take appro�priate action to reimburse said fun.d by
action aga:i.n.st the owner of s aid property.
