WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Saint Paul is informed by
the Commissione� of Public Safety tha't a nuisance exists on the Prop-
e�ty located at 288 Front Street in �he City of 5�in-C Paul, which
nuisance constitutes a h�zard to the Public health, welfare and sa�e�y;
an d
WHEREAS, Such nuisance more particularly consists of an accumu-
].ation of rubbish, old bui.l.ding tn��eri�ls and an overgrowth of weeds,
which harbors rodents, vermin, and other noxious anim�ls and things;
and .
WI�REAS, Pursuant �Co Section 374 of the Charter of the City of
Saint Paul, and Section 265.52 ot the Saint Paul Legislative Code 24
hours' notice has been given to the owner, occupant, or 3�ent bf such
p�ope�ty demanding that such nuisance be removed; now� therefore, be it
, RESOLVED� That upon the recommendation of the Commissione� of
� Public Safety the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby direc'ted to
summari].y and forth�rith remove the sai� nuisance, the cost of slzch re-
mo�ral to be charged against FUnd No. 0979 ; and be it
" FURTHER RESOLVE D, That the Commissioner of Public Safety is di-
rected to ascertain the cost of such removal, and to forward the same
to the County Auditor on or before October ]. o� the yeaz+ in vthich �
ascertained, fo� co].lection in the same manner as taxes against 5ai.d
property.
