WHEREAS, The Committee on Lands, composed of the Mayor, the Purchasing Agent, and �
the Commissioner of Public Works of the City of Saint Paul, has secured an agree-
ment for the purchase of that certain property desc`ribed as follows: '

All that part of Lot 5 of Irvines Addition of Outlots to the Town of
St. Paul, bounded and described as follows: Commencing at a point on
the north line of said Lot S, 41µ feet west of the northeast corner of
said lot; running thence west on the north li.ne of said lot, 41µ feet;
thence at right angles south 1012 feet, parallel with the east line of
said lot; therice at right angles east 41µ feet parallel with the north
line of said lot; thence at right angles north 1012 feet parallel with
the east line of said lot to the place of beginning, acc.
WHEREAS �The property described therein is necessary� for the opening and widening
of the Arch-Pennsylvania Highway from Lafayette Road to Payne Avenue, and the�.
price at which the property may be purchased is at the total amount of $14,250.00,
a fair and reasonable price according to the appraisal obtained by the Committee
on Lands; and �_

WHEREAS Said Committee has recommended the purchase of said property at the price
stated above, as evidenced by the letter of said Committee submitted herewith�; �
now, therefore, be it =
RESOLVED, That pursuant to Section 303 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul,'
the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby authorize the purchase of the

RESOLVED Further that the proper city officials are hereby authorized and �
directed to pay to Louis and Clara Falbo, vendors of said property, the sum
of $14,250.00, said sum to be paid to the aforesaid vendors from PIR Fund 6000, _
to be reimbursed from Bond Fund No. 7200-ST-32, upon their furnishing an abstract
of title continued to date evidencing good marketable' title in Louis and Clara
Falbo, and the total payment to be made upon tender by said parties of an
appropriate warranty deed conveying title of said property to the City of .
Saint Paul. }
