OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK ✓— COUNCI RESOLUTION—GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONE TE � WHEREAS, The Committee on Lands, composed of the Mayor, the Pur- chasing Agent, and the Commissioner of Public Works of the City of Saint Paul, has secured an agreement for the purchase of that certain property described as follows: The north 85 feet of the west 115 feet of Lot one (1) , Irvines . Addition of Outlots to the Town of St. Paul, acc. WHEREAS, The property described therein is necessary for the opening and widening of the Arch-Pennsylvania Highway from Lafayette Road to Payne Avenue, and the price at which the property may be purchased is at the - total amount of $18,000.00, a fair and reasonable price according to the appraisal obtained by the Committee_ on Lands; and Wf-�REAS, Said Committee has recommended the purchase of said property at the price stated above, as evidenced by the letter of said Committee sub- mitted herewith; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That pursuant to Section 303 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, the Council of the City of Saint Pau1 does hereby authorize the purchase of the land described as: -The north 85 feet of the west 115 feet of Lot one (1) , Irvines � Addition of Outlots to the Town of St. Paul, acc. RESOLVED, Further that the proper city officials are hereby author,- ized and directed to pay to Frank S, and Lucy J. Orlando, vendors of said y property, the sum of $18,000.00, said sum to be paid to the aforesaid vendors � from PIR Fund 6000, to be reimbursed from Bond Fund No. 7200-ST-32, upon their ` ' furnishing a certifieate of title and-a registered property report continued to date evidencing good marketable title in Frank S, and Lucy J.
