05-148Council File # � ' �� Green Sheet # 3025188 Presented Referred 7 1 WF3EREAS, Myra Jean L,arson is retiring as an employee of the Saint Paul Department of Human Rights after 20 2 years of dedicated service; and 3 W I�EREAS, Myra began her career with the City as an emergency employee in 1981 and was appointed to a full- 4 rime position on March 4,1985; she was promoted to Clerk III, Clerk Typist III, and to Clerk N in February,1997; 5 and 6 WHEREAS, she has served as Secretary to the Human Rights Directars, the Huxnan Rights Commission, and the 7 Construction Partriering Program; and 8 WHEREAS, Myra has served on the City's Employee Relations Committee and has assisted the Department in 9 hosting the American Contract Compliance Association's National Training Institute and the National Association 10 of Human Rights Workers' Conference; and I 1 W�IEREAS, Myra is very active at St. Mark Lutheran Church, on West Seventh Street and Goodhue, in Saint Paul, 12 and has served on the Church Council, and is a leader on many of the Church's committees; and 13 WHEREAS, Myra's work ethic and good nature have earned her the achniraton of her co-workers, and all who haue 14 worked with her call her friend and lrnow her to be very thoughtful and kind; 15 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Saint Paul City Councii honors Myra Larson far 20 years of dedicated 16 service moving the City forward.
