WHEREAS, in connection with �he eondemnation proceedings ;
f'or the right-of-way requiremen�s for Stage I of the Saint Paul ;
Flood Control Pro�ect, the Bureau of Valuations has negotiated .
a purchase of a permanent easement in eertain property held, ��
in part, in fee by the American Hoist aad Derrick Company, and
held, in part, in fee by the Chicago 4reat Western Railway !
Company, and held, in par�, as a right-of-way for railroad pur- F
poses by the Ghicago Great Western Railway Company; �
WHEREAS, the negotiated price to the entire easement in � �
the land held in fee by said American Hoist and Derrick Company t
was that recited in Council File No. 229567, approved July 21, � �
.. 1g66, which payment has heretofore been made; i

Wl�REAS, the negotiated price of the portion of the easement i ;
which is he•ld by the Chicago Great Western Railway Company is ' � �
$6,097.50; now, therefore, be i� �

� RESOLVED, that in exchange for properly e�ecuted quit claim ' ±
' � deeds the proper C3ty officers be and hereby are authorized and �
directed to pay to the American Hoist and Derrick Company $1.00 ;
and other good and sufficient consideration upon the furnishing, ±
by American Hoist and Derrick Company, to the office of Corporatio ;
Counsel, said deeds and proper evidence of record title, and ' `
said officers are directed to pay to the Chicago Great Western 1 !
