Dear-Sir:
This is in response to the Petition of J. Stewart Markoe to rezone
from "A" and "B" Residence to "C" Residence property located on the
, northwest corner of Oakdale Avenue and Wi.nona Street described as"
(See attached legal description.) _
The Board of Zoning heard the Petition at its meeting on January
19, 19.67. The property has� a frontage of 292.5 feet along Winona
Street and 150 feet along Oakdale Avenue with an area of 32,240 �
square feet. The area zoning is as follows: The frontage along ,
. Oakdale Avenue and north of Belvidere Street is zoned "B" Residence -
The remaining area is zoned "A" Residence. The area uses are
either one-family or vacant land. Winona Street has a steep grade
of 17 percent between Oakdale and a point approximately 130 feet :
westward. -
It was the findings of the Board that it would be reasonable to �
rezone the property. Because of the steep gracle of Winona Street '
access to the property is impossible for part of the year. How- ��
��
= ever, if rezoned, a building might be built with access from �
Oakdale. Because .af• the properties unique access problem, the �
Board recommends that the Petition be granted and the property F
rezoned to "C" Residence. �� �

of Lot 3 the Finance Department shows the owner to be an
Albert Henry Guemmoer whereas aur imrestigation ahows that
the real owner and occipaxit of this land 3.s a Walter Pirzizek
who is purchasing this �roperty on a coritract for deed.
Should his consent be necessary we stand ready to furnish
proof of this.
