This is written in response to the Petition of Morton
Berland and the Cardinal Company to rezone from "A" ;
Residence to "C" Residence property on the west side of �
McKnight Road, north of Lower Afton Road described as:
(See attached legal description).
At its meeting on January 19, 1967, the Board of Zoning
considered this matter. The property is a long, irregu-
larly shaped tract with an area of approximately 82,338.2
square feet. ' Of this amount, approximately 42,720 square
feet will be dedicated for streets, which leaves 39,618
square feet for building purposes. The area to the north
and west is zoned "A" Residence and to the south is "C" '
Residence. The area to the north and south is vacant and
to the west is a �ark. The property is part of a new - ;
plat and the northern part is to be used as a street. `
The Comprehensive Plan proposes R-6 multiple-family resi- '
dential for the property. -

It was the findings of the Board of Zoning that the -
request was reasonable since the rezoning would extend
"C" Residence zoning over the entire new plat and since
the rezoning would be in conformance with the- Comprehen- -
sive. Plan.� Therefore, the Board recommends approval of
the Petition to rezone the property to "C" Residence. �
