RESOLUTION
CITY,QF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA �

WI�REAS, the Institute of Museum and Library Services is making federal funds available for library projects;
and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Public Library Agency, the College of Saint Catherine and the Minneapolis Public
Library wish to submit an application on behalf of the Library to continue the Urban Library Project in an
amount not to exceed $500,000; and
WHEREAS, this grant will assist the Library in recruiting, educating and hiring library staff who reflect the
communities they serve; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the College of Saint Catherine, as the fiscal agent of the Urban Library Program, is authorized
to apply for the g�ant on behalf of the Saint Paui Public Library Agency; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the Library Director is authorized to sign such agreements as are necessary to implement the
project on behaif of the Agency.

The Saint Paul Library padnered with the Colfege of Saint Catherine on a federal gant to fund an Urban Library Project.
apptication will fund the continuation of the pmgam and add the Minneapolis Public Library as an additional partner.
