WI-IEREAS, The Committee on Lands, composed of the Mayor, the Purchasing f
Agent, and the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings;;,� r
of the City of Saint Paul has secured an agreement for the purchase of �
that certain property described as follows: '

WHEREAS, The property described therein is necessary for the site of the �
proposed Mounds Playground, and the price at which the property may be
purc�hased is at the total amount of $1,300.00, a faix and reasonable price ,
acc�rding to the appraisal obtained by the Committee on Lands; and �� �

WHEREAS, said Committee has recommended the purchase of said property at � �
the price stated above, as evidenced by the letter of said Corrm�ittee sub-
mitted herewith; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That pursuant to Section 303 of the Charter of the City of �
Saint Paul, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby authorize � �
the� purchase of the land described as: � �

RESOLVED Further that the proper city officials are hereby authorized {and ' I ?

the sum of $1,300.00, said sum to be paid to the aforesaid vendor from � ; �
Playground Real Estate Fund 3700 upon their furnishing an abstract of� �
title continued to date evidencing good marketable title in Paul E, and ' �
Mabel Fonstad, and the total payment to be made upon tender by said vendors �
of an appropriate warranty deed conveying title to said property to the�- ;
City of Saint Paul.
